Townsend:
- Whisperwind Cabins – almost all are right here in the valley where I live. It’s quiet here and beautiful, not the hectic tourist pace of Gatlinburg. Each cabin is unique, lots of different sizes and in different locations here. Owned by our neighbors, nicely decorated and reasonable priced. Check out their website.
- Lazy Daze Campground – 8429 State Hwy. 73, Townsend TN., (865)448-6061. They have camp sites (full hook ups) and cabins. Swimming pool, laundry, grocery store, picnic tables, shady sites, wi fi, video game room, playground and more. www.lazydazecampground.com . Tell Betty I sent you!
Gatlinburg:
- Buckhorn Inn – Bed and breakfast. Lodge and cottages. Check web site for prices, etc. No TVs in the lodge part. No children in the lodge, but they are allowed in cottages. There is an age requirement. Details on web site too. Nice place for honeymooners! Or us seniors!
